The University invites you to attend an Academic Showcase hosted by the Office of the Vice President for Research, Innovation, and Economic Development. The event will be held from 8:30-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, in the Student Union hallways.

Everyone is encouraged to attend this free event that will feature each academic college along with exhibits including:

  • 3D printing;
  • fossil skulls,
  • patient simulations,
  • Museum on the Move – an Airstream trailer that brings exhibits to the public,
  • solar power technology, and
  • student research.

There will also be an interactive exhibit where you can create an image using artificial intelligence, multiple multimedia displays, and college giveaways. In addition, a historical display of the University’s past 125 years will be available for viewing from 8:30-11:30 a.m. in the Student Union's Atchafalaya Ballroom.
