IRI Sponsor Spotlight: StateChain 2026

KEY SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT | Informatics Research Institute at UL Lafayette

StateChain Summit ’26 is pleased to recognize the Informatics Research Institute at UL Lafayette as one of the key sponsors and supporters helping make this inaugural gathering possible.

IRI operates at the intersection of research, technology, public impact, and economic development.

Its work spans areas including:

Artificial intelligence.
Cybersecurity.
Data science and analytics.
Disaster and emergency management.
Community resilience.
Healthcare innovation.
Supply chains.
Workforce development.
Entrepreneurship.
Smart communities.

But its impact extends beyond research itself.

From the early stages of StateChain Summit, IRI has provided guidance, connections, introductions, institutional knowledge, and access to an ecosystem that helped turn an idea into a national gathering in Lafayette.

That support has been invaluable.

A special thank you to Dr. Ramesh Kolluru, President of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette; Dr. Henry Chu, Executive Director of the Informatics Research Institute; Chris Kimmel, Chief Innovation Officer; and the broader UL Lafayette and IRI teams for their continued support.

Their work reflects an important part of the StateChain Summit thesis:

Research creates knowledge.
Ecosystems create connections.
Implementation turns both into impact.

We greatly appreciate IRI for helping bring government, research, industry, technology, and innovation into the same room for StateChain Summit ’26.
